Supportive Therapy

Supportive psychotherapy is used in my psychotherapy practise to help you gain the ability to cope with life's stressful moments by just simply being present, listening and encouraging your expression of thoughts and feelings as well as helping you to gain an understanding of your options in a situation whether it be work or personal. Psychotherapy can help to develop the skills for a stronger self-esteem, hope and resilience. Supportive psychotherapy is a form of therapy service that can be short or long term, depending on your needs and your personal circumstances.
